Using The Photo Shop Move Tool

Using  photoshop move tool which is the second tool on the Adobe PhotoShop tools bar.
The move tool can be use in various form
It can be use to move item or object from one place to another
It is use in resizing of items or object
It can be use to rotate objects
Etc

Lets say we launch the Adobe PhotoShop on our pc, and open a new page from the file option on the menu bar. Then the new dialog box appears immediately, you might decide to use the background color option or the transparent option to setup your new document or as well use the white background option to setup your page.

After setting up your page background type, then you need to setup the width and the height of the page or you can use the “preset sizes” drop down arrow to choose the particular size you wish to use, you can use the 5*7 option which is the one for a normal photographic image.

Once you are done click on the click on the file option on the menu bar and access the image that you wish to design with the “open” option in there.

What I normally like to do is, go to the place where the image is situated and drag it into the new page that I have set up and later unlock it,  for it to become a transparent page.

To drag the image to another side of the page is just by clicking on the move tool first, then go to the layer dialog box and click on the particular image that you need to drag or move, then immediately if the “Show Bounding Box” is checked appropriately on the properties bar it will be highlighted, if is not checked then you need to check it if not you not see the re-size bounding box of the image and you can not re-size the image if you want to

You can also use the move to tool to move an item or object from one page to another page. Lets say you open two pages and there is an image that you open in a particular page and you need to transfer it to the other page then all you need to do is to click on the image layer on the layer dialog box scroll to “select” on the menu bar items click on it and click on the “All” option there, now click on the move tool and drag it to the page after you might have click on the restore down button on the side of the document close button of the page to enable you see the both pages and know where you are dragging it to.

You can also use the move tool to drag an object on top of another to show or display ontop of another it can be in the case of text been displaying at the back of an image you can use the move tool to order it to the front
