How To Set Up Modem Profile Management For Other Network

Any Network Modem always installs the Modem Software automatically on your pc, but if it is the first time of you using it or if it is not installed on your PC. When you plug the modem to your USB Port on your PC, the software will automatically pop up and begins to install

This Post is for people who unlocked their modem to be able to use it with any Network it can be the MTN Modem or any other Network Modem so that they can be able to use the Modem Software to browse with any Network at all.

Maybe when you unlocked your modem and you have only one Modem Software on your PC it can be the Etisalat software, Mtn Software, Glo Software, Zain Software installed on your PC.

Then to be able to use that software only then you need to create different Profile Management for the different network and save.

You will get the Profile Management of the Modem Software you are using under the Tools Menu from the options Option then click on it.

At the profile Management Dialog box you will be displayed with a list of settings

The Profile Name

The APN

The Authentication

To create for any network you need to click on the New button at the right hand side of the dialog box to empty the whole boxes and left with the Access number Which is always constant for all network as far as you are using your PC to browse.

Under the PROFILE NAME there you have to write the name of the network that you want to create for, it can be for MTAN, ETISALATE, ZAIN, GLO.

Under the APN Area you have to write the Access point of the Network .

Under the AUTHENTICATION

You have to write the username and the password of the network you are creating the profile management for  and if the Access Number is not been set which is always “*99#” then you have to write that number into the box.
