Creating Blogger Favicon

First what is a favicon, this is an image or an icon that displays at the left hand side of the broswer when a page displays at the web addresses location.

Adding a blogger favicon is not a very hard work to do. Just launch your web browser on your pc and access blogger website and login to your account, once you are logged in then do the following

First of all create the desirable picture that you wish to use as your blogger favicon, with any photo editor you want it can be Adobe PhotoShop or corel dreaw.
While creating the image you need to make sure that the image size is not less than 100kb and you need to create this favicon in a square shape that is making the width of the favicon and that of the height equal.

Then click on the design tab on youe dashboard, there you will see a place called favicon which looks like this below

Then click on the edit, on the favicon box.
Once the window shows up there you will see some instructions on how you can create your favicon which I just thought about above.

Click on browse to locate the image on the folder that you saved the favicon into, while you were saving the favicon after creating or designing with your desirable photo editor

Once you locate it the the next thing to do is to click on the image and click on open from the upload dialog box or window. Immediately after clicking the open button on the dialog box, then the url of the upload favicon will display on the upload text field area.

After the image selection then the next thing to do is just to click on the save button button and the the image will upload to blogger and the upload window then disappear immediately. After all that then the favicon now takes place of the former blogger favicon. Incase you did not see this immediately that means that you need to refresh the browser once again.
