Uploading File From PC To Server With File Zilla

To upload designed site on pc to the internet server which support FTP (file transfer protocol ) and you are using the filezila upload software then you can upload it to the internet this way.

First what you have to get first are the

Host (usually the web address or domain name)

The server path (not with filezilla it can be with any other transfer software)

FTP Username

FTP Password

The PORT of the server you registered with.

Now you need to download the Filezilla software first, may be you can search and download it on the this site bellow

Once you download it and you are connected to the internet, launch the filezilla software on your pc and fill in all the required items there.

After filling those items you now have to click on the quick connect button on the software. Once you are connected a successful connection message will be shown to you telling you that you have being connected successfully.

You can now locate the designed site folder and upload it to the server from the local site area where you find your local host, your CD Disk, your my document, my computer etc.

Now when you locate the folder from either the my document, local disk or from the any where you stored it on your pc, open it  or click on it to be highlighted and all the file in the folder will be display on the down part of the local site .

 

You have to now go down to the displayed folder on the down part of the local site and click on any of the folders and do control A or highlight all.

For you to upload this now to the internet, is just by right clicking on the highlighted folders and click on the upload option in there.

Then the site or the files begins to upload to the server immediately if connection wasn’t lost by then and if so, then reconnect and start the upload test again.

While uploading the file then the files you are uploading will be showing immediately at the right hand side of the software. The Remote site area shows all the exiting folders on your server and the down part of it shows the uploading files and the exiting folders item.

At the down part you can delet the index and replace it with the yours, so that when you finish your upload the you can use your site directly.
